The Santa
Barbara County Water Agency
coordinates
Project
Clean Water, a unified community effort to clean the water
in our creeks and beaches, and a
County
Regional Water Efficiency Program, to help people use water
more efficiently.
Project Clean Water comprises
local governments and representatives of our county’s
environmental and business communities, who come together to
protect the public health and enhance environmental quality in
our watersheds and at beaches. It provides the coordination of
numerous working groups targeting sources of pollution and
working to restore degraded creeks and beaches.
The
South Coast Watershed Resource Center, a joint project by
the Community Environmental Council, the City of Santa Barbara,
the County of Santa Barbara, and other partners, makes the
connection between healthy watersheds and our own positive
personal choices. Visit the center to find out more!
