Here are some questions to ask about your company's landscaping:

• are we using any toxic herbicides or pesticides?  are there non-toxic alternatives we could be using?

• are we using drought-tolerant plants? are we making sure we aren't wasting water? (are we maintaining sprinkler systems, and watering overnight or during cool hours of the day?)

• are we shading our building with plants to keep our building cool?

• are we using outdoor equipment (gas-powered lawn mowers, leaf blowers, etc.) that produces pollution?  could we be using electric-powered or manual tools instead?
